The government has again increased the price of petroleum products. Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 9 per liter.
According to the new price, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 181 and diesel and kerosene at Rs 172.
Similarly, the corporation has increased aviation fuel by Rs 5 per liter.
The corporation has said that the selling price has to be adjusted as per the new price list received from Indian Oil Corporation Limited on July 3 in line with the increase in the international market price of refined petroleum products in the last 15 days.
As the cost price of petroleum products continues to rise, the amount that could not be paid for the purchase is also increasing. The corporation has informed that it will reach Rs 30 billion.
